Staying at La Casa Eugenia, a boutique 4 * hotel – Double suite room, close to Bariloche

Not nearly as popular or crowded as the nearby tourist town of Bariloche , quiet San Martín de los Andes, 3 hours drive from Bariloche, is a beautiful village where you can relax and take in the spectacular scenery of Lake Lacár.

San Martín de los Andes is a town in northwest Patagonia, Argentina. It’s known as a gateway to the forested Lanín National Park, home to the Lanín Volcano and diverse wildlife including guanacos and pumas. The town lies on the banks of Lake Lácar, one of the park’s many glacial lakes, and has a boat pier and a sandy beach. The First Settlers Museum displays exhibits on indigenous tribes and European pioneers.
